Why is this actually free? What's the catch?

There is no catch. The 1,000 Hearts Initiative is funded through community health grants and local sponsors. We receive no payment from your organization. Our only goal is to get as many people CPR-certified as possible.

How many people do we need?

We can accommodate groups from 8 to 20+ participants. If your group is smaller, we may combine sessions. Just let us know and we'll work something out.

How long does the training take?

Most sessions run 2–3 hours depending on group size. We'll give you a precise time estimate once we confirm your headcount.

Do participants receive official certification?

Yes. Every participant who completes the training receives an official CPR certification card that meets American Heart Association standards The same certification you'd receive in a paid class.

Where do you serve?

We primarily serve Harford County, Cecil County, Baltimore City, and Baltimore County. If you're outside this area, reach out, we'll do our best to accommodate you or connect you with a partner program.

How flexible is scheduling?

Very flexible. We work weekdays and weekends and can often schedule within 1–2 weeks of your request. Fill out the form and we'll find a time that works for your team.
